Through out our posts you will often see the acronym SW/AG (pronounced swag). It is a combination of the gym my friends and I belong to (Stoneworks) and the shop I opened inside of it (AntiGravity Equipment).
These days the two seem almost one and the same. Though they each have their own personality the two businesses thrive off one another's passion and inventiveness. AntiGravity Equipment was founded on the core values that the gym is known for and has made contributions to those values using it's own approach. The result is our SW/AG family.

One of the things we really like about the Kira (and the Kronos) is the closure system. The thick webbing hugs the majority of the dorsal part of the foot making it feel very secure inside the shoe and you can add a little extra tightnening near the bottom or relax the velcro for more comfort near the toe box.

"Faced with the increasing environmental effects of global manufacturing, Edelrid, in 2009, partnered with Bluesign to become the first rope manufacturer in the world to change their production and manufacturing processes to meet the tough demands of the Bluesign system."
Rope manufacturing, by traditional methods, especially the dyeing process, is incredibly water excessive and chemically intensive. By converting rope production to the bluesign system, Edelrid has been able to achieve 89% decrease in water usage, 62% reduction in CO2, 63% decrease in energy, and 63% reduction in chemical usage.
